Saginaw Valley State University will host its Summer Career and Internship Fair from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1 in SVSU’s Curtiss Hall.

The Summer Career and Internship Fair will highlight over 65 employers seeking part-time and full-time employees for the 2022 winter, spring and summer seasons. These companies are looking to meet students of all majors for co-ops and internships.

“Upcoming career fairs are a great opportunity for employers to meet talented SVSU students in person to discuss potential internship and employment opportunities,” said Jim Dwyer, executive director of SVSU Career Services.

CED, Enterprise and Frankenmuth Insurance are the sponsors of this event.

Dwyer said the career fair provides an opportunity to connect employers with talented students.

“SVSU understands the pressure the workforce faces and is well positioned to connect our talent with employers who are hiring, he said. “Students will gain first-hand experience by demonstrating their ability to effectively communicate their qualifications to more than 65 employers across multiple industries.

“This is one of the many exciting opportunities we cultivate to ensure our students are ready to enter the workforce after graduating in their chosen field.”

Visit the SVSU Career Services website to register for the Summer Jobs and Internship Fair and for a list of employers. Professional attire is recommended for participants.
