Charles “ Chuck ” Moylan

Charles “Chuck” Moylan, 70, of Salt Lake City, Utah, died at SLC Regional Medical Center on Friday, September 24, 2021, after a long illness.

Chuck was born on July 25, 1951 in Warren, Pa. To the late Gordon and Mae Moylan of Warren.

Chuck was a graduate of Warren Area High School in 1969. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Edinboro, Edinboro, Pa., In 1973. He has held numerous jobs; working internationally for Timken Corp. as a technical sales representative, then more recently at Energy Solutions, Salt Lake City as a safety engineer.

Chuck was avid fly fishing enthusiast and spent many hours fishing with his wife on the Provo River in Utah. He was also an avid “Hearts Content” speckled trout fishing enthusiast with his 50-plus-year-old close friend, Tim Olsen of Warren, PA. His other interests included his wife’s beautiful art, beautiful music, and guns.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Susana; cousins: Mike (Fran) Brennan and John Brennan; several nieces and nephews and a little niece, Also brothers and sisters-in-law and other family members.

He was predeceased by his father, Gordon Moylan in 1951 and his mother, Mae Moylan in 1991.

Chuck will be remembered as being firm and direct with people, having a hard work ethic, a devoted friend, and a lover of the great outdoors.

A memorial service will be announced in his honor in the future, and donations will be appreciated at Trout Unlimited, ReelRecovery. org, or to any charitable church of preference.

Arrangements were made by the Neil O’Donnell Funeral Home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
