AUB concludes an internship program for LOYAC students

KUWAIT: Ahli United Bank (AUB) has concluded its summer internship program for LOYAC students for 2021, which is held annually at the bank’s headquarters. The program includes a variety of specialized training and educational courses. AUB organizes this program as part of its policy aimed at developing the skills of young people and enhancing their expertise in banking fields.

On this occasion, Naqeeb Amin, Director General of Human Resources of AUB, declared: “We have a close cooperative relationship with LOYAC, and in this context, we have organized a summer internship program for the students of LOYAC, in which we have designed an intensive training program for them to help them gain practical experience by engaging in the real banking business environment and familiarizing themselves with the working mechanism within the different departments of the bank. At the end of the program, we award certificates of appreciation to students who have demonstrated commitment and willingness to learn and work during the training course.

Naqeeb pointed out that the summer internship programs are of great importance as they help to develop the theoretical aspect taught in universities through exercises and practical training, in order to allow students to better understand the nature of work in banking and finance.

Naqeeb added: “At AUB, we are committed to supporting young people by all means, as part of our integrated training plan, which aims to train young national staff and prepare them for specialized positions in business. banking. It should be noted that AUB is launching several initiatives aimed at disseminating banking knowledge to students in schools and universities.
