Candidate must be willing totravel to and/or be placed at any store within the Market. Primary Purpose:Serve customers by accurately and promptly performing transactions whiledelivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Understands keyselling features and benefits; creates one-minute approaches to be used withcustomers about each product to generate interest and referrals. Helps the teamgrow customer relationships by making sales referrals when appropriate. Promptlyprocesses consumer and business transactions in an accurate and efficientmanner. Follows bank policies, procedures, and security guidelines; complieswith federal, state, and local regulations; maintains awareness of updatedpolicies and procedures. Balances cash transactions daily and minimizes out ofbalance occurrences. If out of balance, resolves condition, corrects error andensures appropriate customer notification. Conveys professional image and alwaysdemonstrates exceptional customer service behaviors (pleasant, makes eyecontact, greet customers by name, professional attire). Helps enhance customerrelationships by identifying opportunities and referring to the FinancialSpecialist, or other financial center personnel as appropriate. Effectivelyaddresses customer service issues and/or escalates to appropriate person.Participates with financial center team members to consistently meet or exceedcustomer service goals. Works as an active member of the Teller team to minimizecustomer wait time. Demonstrates product/service knowledge on alternativedelivery channels and proactively educates customers. Adheres to customerservice protocols and processes. Actively participates with financial centerteam members and in daily huddles and team meetings to ensure that financialcenter goals are achieved. Delivers and proactively seeks feedback for improvingpersonal, as well as team performance.REQUIREMENTS:Requirements: AHigh School diploma/GED or are currently enrolled in a High School/GED programis required. At least 1 year of retail sales and/or customer service experiencerequired. Previous experience selling products and services preferred. Strongcustomer relations and problem solving skills required; ability to communicateeffectively with customers and establish rapport when handling customerinquiries and transactions. Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication andlistening skills required. Proven ability to achieve goals. Must be able toeffectively deal with high customer traffic and constant interruptions. Strongattention to detail is required. Experienced and comfortable using computers.Ability and desire to interact in a team environment; must be willing tocontribute to team efforts. Teller or Cash handling experience is preferred. M-F40.00 hours, Saturday Rotation, Occasional OvertimeWachovia
