Assurant has over $23 billion in assets and $8 billion in annual revenue.www.assurant.comJob summary statementThis position will be responsible for partnering with the Process Management & Improvement Leadership as well as operational senior leaders to drive critical projects and drive results related to process efficiencies, client satisfaction and associate satisfaction. The position will participate in governance processes related to improvement and best practices across the sites. They will have responsibility for delivering training and coaching green belt projects. They will work with Sr. leadership, clients, vendors, associates and internal support organizations to successfully complete complex projects across sites and process. This position will report to the VP of Process Management & Improvement with matrix reporting to Site Leadership around end-to-end process.Key responsibilities * Lead complex projects for efforts that cross clients, sites, and processes* Lead change through projects & program efforts/goals.* Develop and Implement best practice process across Hazard Property.* Deploy lean within the organization as thought leader.* Deploy tracking for improvement projects and program goals.* Establish and support community of practice for belts across Assurant Hazard Property Sites.* Coach project work of green belts across sites.* Lead & deploy process management across assigned process areas.* Demonstrated success in using Six Sigma & Lean approaches to deliver quantifiable business results: Design for Six Sigma, Process Management, Lean and DMAIC at the Black Belt level.* Proven experience with improvement and business software programs - minitab, powerpoint, excel, process mapping, etc. (Access preferred)Required skills/experience* 8-10 years business experience (Services/Insurance preferred for at least 3 years)* Minimum of 3 years experience as practicing certified Black Belt.* Minimum of 2 years of proven project management experience.* Experience in training delivery of Six Sigma & Lean awareness classes, tools, and green belt training.* Experience in applying Lean Techniques for improvement.
