This includes identifying members' financial needs and offering credit union products and services. Additionally it is important to present and explain Credit Union products and services to members and assist them in utilizing these products and services. Greet members in the lobby. Must be able to perform all teller functions plus new account (MSA I) functions while developing leadership skills.4. Help determine, meet and solve members' needs, problems and conflicts5. Greet members in a courteous, positive, and professional manner.6. Maintain confidentiality in all Credit Union and member matters.7. Follow safety and security rules and regulations.8. Present a positive image of the Credit Union through aprofessional appearance and courteous attitude.Responsibilities:DUTIES:The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.Perform all Teller I, II and III duties (except accessing employee accounts). See position descriptions for these positions.Interview loan applicants and review credit reports for cross-sell opportunities and credit evaluation.Process and audit all new account documents, which includes ordering checks, checking eligibility for membership, Chex Systems, compliance with Patriot Act, and checking for appropriate signatures and scanning documents. Input new accounts in the database and process updates or deletions to existing records.Process financial transactions for members including opening and closing of accounts, issuing certificates, and ensuring member receives appropriate receipts.Compile and maintain fraud and forgery files.Cross-sell Credit Union services when appropriate to better serve member's needs.Provide Notary service for members.Maintain and secure files containing membership information.Research accounts for deposit, withdrawal and loan payment discrepancies.Resolve member problems over the phone as well as face-to-face contacts.Process Debit and Credit card applications, as well as creating the instant issue cards for the members.In-put members' electronic services personal identification numbers.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Excellent oral/written communication skills and member service manners/techniques.Ability to operate adding machine, applicable PC programs, and typewriter.Knowledge of principles and practices of a financial institution.Knowledge of certificates of deposit.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous financial institution experience preferred.Completion of annual LEU program.Apply for this job:* Apply for this job online
