Deepens customer relationships through the needs-based selling of a larger suite of financial services products than a non-licensed banker. Sells investment and insurance products for which they have been trained by U.S. Bancorp Investments and Insurance, and for which they are appropriately licensed. Actively refers clients to the Financial Consultant as appropriate. Profiles, assesses, and handles customers' financial needs, and obtains and processes customer/account information. Sells bank deposit and loan products and services. Handles complex customer service issues in absence of or as directed by Branch Manager. Converts service opportunities into sales events.Your Career is Here.Basic Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent- One to three years of experience in retail and investment sales industry- Life or life/health (state specific) licensePreferred Skills/Experience- Series 6/7 and 63 licenses preferred- Ability to sell traditional bank products, insurance and/or investment products- Basic knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems- Thorough understanding of banking operations, product knowledge, sales, and new business development- Excellent customer service/relations and community relations- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
