The position is designed to give ?on the job training" in preparation for running your own State Farm Agency. The Agent Aspirant will work in a full time mentor agent`s office to build and cultivate customer relationships develop leads, promote and sell State Farm Products. Aspirants will solicit, quote, consult and bind coverage to help customers manage their unique insurance and financial needs. This position is not offered by State Farm, it is offered by an independent State Farm agent. Completion of this program does not guarantee placement in an agency, final determination is made by the company base on availability Primary Accountabilities Sales Generation (80%) ? Solicits available insurance products to new and existing clients. Conducts comparisons to other insurers/policies. Calculates and quotes policy premiums. ? Make suitable recommendations on policy coverages and options, closes sales, and processes applications in an accurate manner. ? Create and utilize strategies to close sales on a daily basis. ? Maintains an active awareness of current products / coverages offered and underwriting rules. Must also be aware of state insurance regulations. ? Analyze information such as motor vehicle reports, credit reports, applications, risk, etc., to accept or reject new business. This requires strong analytical and decision making skills. ? Tracks daily sales activity; keeps management apprised of sales activity on an ongoing basis. Customer Service (20%) . ? Assist customers with account changes. ?
