Contracting Coordinator 09-919Job Type: Full-TimeLocation: Atlanta, GALast Updated: 08/26/2009Job Description:Assist the Contracting Representatives and Regional Network Administrators by maintaining familiarity with each account and their designated representative, understanding provider contracts, and fielding calls/concerns that occur when the Contracting Representative is in the field. Prioritizes and researches problems affecting providers. Assist in maintaining up to date contract and contract management files and documentation.Brief Description of Duties:. Follow up and track new Standard and Non-Standard contracts in Onbase for signature approval. Scan all relevant correspondence, new credentialing applications and Provider Registration maintenance forms/documents into Onbase. Assist in the creation & review of rosters from provider groups to ensure correct formatting. Work and route all issues in the Provider Registration and Contact On-line Reporting System (CORS) workflow queue to the appropriate person for resolution.. Answer inquiries from providers in a competent, courteous and timely manner to resolve provider issues and ensure good service; refer provider issues as necessary to the appropriate Contracting Representative, Regional Network Administrator, or Department; log all relevant correspondence into Goldmine. Assist the Contracting Representative as necessary in regards to credentialing issues or notifications. Prepare and mail out welcome letters to new providers.. Assist in report development and special projects using knowledge of contracts and other information sources.. Update rates into External Pricer and Modeling as directed by Regional Network Administrator(s) and/or Ancillary/Institutional Representatives. Subject to change based on service area.Identify overpayment/underpayment issues and assist the Contracting Representative and/or Regional Network Administrator in resolution as necessary.Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents:. Bachelor's degree.. One to three years relevant experience.. Basic knowledge of computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Q & A software;. Experience in communicating with a variety of people in all levels of the organizational structure, orally and in writing.. Must be able to prepare general correspondence and work with peer groups on special projects or task forces.. Understand the general business flows, procedures and systems..
