My client is a teaching hospital in Southern Connecticut, a Level II Trauma Center with a very active Cancer Center. Looking for a talented BLOOD BANKER for a BLOOD BANK TECHNICAL SPECIALIST position. Reporting to the Administrative Lab Director and the Medical Director of Blood Bank, the Technical Specialist directly oversees the technical performance and competency of the staff. REQUIREMENTS: - Strong Blood Bank & Transfusion Services background - Bachelor's degree in Lab Services or science field - MT (ASCP) certification - BB (ASCP) or SBB (ASCP) certification is preferred but not required.
